Ricardo Villegas is an admitted solicitor with an unrestricted Practising Certificate from the Law Society of South Australia and over 10 years' post-admission experience specialising in Contract Law and Corporate Law.
As Founder and Principal of his boutique firm, Visual Legal, Ricardo delivers high-level consulting to Sydney law firms on complex commercial contracts, technology licensing, privacy compliance, and corporate governance. He brings particular expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, including unfair contract terms, intellectual property licensing, and technology commercialisation.
Alongside his legal practice, Ricardo has an extensive academic background, including six years as Senior Lecturer of Law at the University of South Australia. This experience has honed his ability to communicate complex legal concepts with clarity and precision, translating directly into client advisory work, board-level presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
