Quillio + Filevine

AI for Filevine matters — direct integration coming soon.

Filevine is popular with litigation and personal injury practices. A direct Quillio + Filevine integration is on the roadmap; until it ships, Quillio still works alongside Filevine through document upload.

In short

Quillio is building a direct integration with Filevine — here is what it will do when available, and what you can do today. Status: coming soon. Today, AU/NZ firms using Filevine can export documents from a Filevine project, run document review, research, or drafting in Quillio, and paste the AI output back into the project. Once the direct integration ships, document access and write-back will be automatic.

What it does

Quillio inside Filevine

When the direct Filevine integration goes live, Quillio will read documents from a Filevine project over an authenticated API connection and write AI outputs (reviews, chronologies, drafts) back to the project. For now, the workflow is manual export and upload — slower, but the AI work product is the same, and it still keeps AU jurisdiction logic and AU data residency on the processing side.

Capabilities

What you can do

Document review on Filevine projects (planned)

Review any document from a Filevine project and save the output back to the project file. Manual today; automatic when the integration ships.

Litigation chronology builder

Build a chronology from Filevine project documents. Currently via document upload; direct project read coming soon.

AU/NZ research with matter context (planned)

Ask research questions with Filevine project context pulled in automatically. Planned for the direct integration.

Drafting support

Draft letters, briefs, and settlement documents in Quillio and paste back to Filevine today. Direct write-back planned.

Single sign-on (planned)

SSO between Filevine and Quillio is planned for the direct integration release.

Data flow and security

Data flow

Today, you upload documents to Quillio manually. Processing happens on Quillio's Australian-hosted infrastructure and outputs stay in Quillio until you copy them back to Filevine. When the direct integration ships, documents will flow from Filevine to Quillio over an authenticated, encrypted connection, and outputs will write back to the Filevine project automatically.

Security

Quillio holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 and runs on Australian-hosted infrastructure. Filevine has its own SOC 2 posture. The planned integration will use OAuth 2.0 and TLS for all data in transit.

Who uses it: Australian and New Zealand firms running litigation and personal injury practice on Filevine, plus firms using Filevine for complex case management. Today these firms use Quillio standalone alongside Filevine; direct integration is on the roadmap.
Questions

Filevine integration FAQs

Is the Filevine integration live today?

No — it is on the roadmap. You can still use Quillio alongside Filevine today by uploading documents manually. When the direct integration ships, document access will be automatic.

When will the direct integration be available?

We prioritise integrations based on customer demand. If Filevine matters to your firm, tell us — that moves it up the list. We are honest about not committing to a specific date before the build is scoped.

Can I use Quillio for Filevine matters in the meantime?

Yes. Export the documents from Filevine, upload them to Quillio, and run document review, research, drafting, or chronology building. The output is the same — only the workflow is manual.

Where is matter data processed in the meantime?

On Quillio's Australian-hosted infrastructure. Documents you upload to Quillio are processed in Australia regardless of where Filevine itself hosts your project data.

Will there be an extra cost for the Filevine integration?

No. When the direct integration ships, it will be included in standard Quillio per-user pricing, consistent with our other practice management integrations.

Does Quillio understand US-style case management if we use Filevine internationally?

Quillio is trained on Australian and New Zealand law. If your Filevine projects are AU/NZ matters, Quillio handles them well. US-only case work is not our current focus.
