AI for the matter files sitting in Drive.
Some AU firms are on Google Workspace and keep matter files in Drive. A direct Quillio + Google Drive integration is on the roadmap; today Quillio works with Drive files via download and upload.
Quillio is building a direct integration with Google Drive — here is what it will do when available, and what you can do today. Status: coming soon. Today, firms on Google Workspace can download files from Drive, upload them to Quillio, run document review, research, or drafting, and save the output back to Drive manually. The direct integration will connect Quillio to selected Drive folders so documents can be read and written without leaving Drive.
Quillio inside Google Drive
The Quillio + Google Drive integration will connect Quillio to a specific Drive folder or set of folders (for example, the matters folder, or a particular client's Drive). Lawyers will be able to select a file in Drive and run a Quillio review, chronology, or draft — with the output saved back to the same folder as a new Doc, Sheet, or PDF. Both Google Docs and uploaded .docx / .pdf files will be supported.
What you can do
Document review on Drive files (planned)
Run a review on a Google Doc or uploaded file from Drive. Output saved back to the same Drive folder.
Chronology builder (planned)
Build chronologies from files in a Drive matter folder. Output saved as a Google Doc.
Drafting with Drive sharing
Draft with Quillio and save to Drive so the firm's existing sharing and permissions apply.
Support for Docs, Sheets, and PDF
Native Google Docs, uploaded .docx, and PDF files will all be supported by the integration.
Permission-aware access
Quillio will only access files the authenticated user can already see in Drive. Share settings are respected end to end.

Data flow and security
Data flow
Today, files are downloaded from Drive and uploaded to Quillio manually. Processing happens on Quillio's Australian-hosted infrastructure. When the direct integration ships, files will flow from Drive to Quillio over the Google Drive API using OAuth, with AI outputs written back to the selected folder.
Security
Google LLC holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and a broad set of Google Workspace enterprise certifications. Quillio holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 on Australian-hosted infrastructure. The planned integration will use OAuth 2.0, respect Drive share permissions, and use TLS for data in transit.
