Quillio + Microsoft SharePoint

AI on the matter documents living in SharePoint.

Many AU firms use SharePoint as the core document store, whether standalone or as part of Microsoft 365. A direct Quillio + SharePoint integration is on the roadmap.

In short

Quillio is building a direct integration with Microsoft SharePoint — here is what it will do when available, and what you can do today. Status: coming soon. Today, firms using SharePoint can download matter documents from a SharePoint site or document library, run Quillio on them, and save the AI output back to SharePoint manually. The direct integration will read documents from SharePoint over the Microsoft Graph API and write AI outputs back as new files or versions.

What it does

Quillio inside Microsoft SharePoint

The Quillio + SharePoint integration will connect Quillio to a SharePoint site or specific document libraries. Lawyers will be able to select documents inside SharePoint and run a Quillio review, chronology, or draft — with the output saved back to the same library as a new document or version. Matter-level context from SharePoint columns and metadata will be respected.

Capabilities

What you can do

Document review on SharePoint libraries (planned)

Review documents from a SharePoint matter library and save output back as a new file or version.

Chronology builder (planned)

Build chronologies from documents in a SharePoint library, respecting folder structure and permissions.

AU research with matter context (planned)

Ask research questions with SharePoint matter metadata (client, matter, practice area) picked up automatically.

Metadata-aware outputs

AI outputs saved back to SharePoint will inherit matter metadata so search and governance still work.

Permission-aware access

Quillio will only read documents the authenticated user can already see in SharePoint. Site-level and library-level permissions are respected end to end.

Data flow and security

Data flow

Today, documents are downloaded from SharePoint and uploaded to Quillio manually. Processing happens on Quillio's Australian-hosted infrastructure. When the direct integration ships, documents will flow from SharePoint to Quillio over the Microsoft Graph API using OAuth, with AI outputs written back as new documents or versions.

Security

Microsoft Corporation holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and a broad set of Microsoft 365 enterprise certifications for SharePoint. Quillio holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 on Australian-hosted infrastructure. The planned integration will use OAuth 2.0, respect SharePoint permissions, and use TLS for data in transit.

Who uses it: Australian firms running Microsoft 365 with SharePoint as the core document store — from small firms using SharePoint Online to larger firms with multi-site setups for different practice groups.
Questions

Microsoft SharePoint integration FAQs

Is the SharePoint integration live today?

No — it is on the roadmap. You can use Quillio with SharePoint today by downloading and uploading documents manually.

Will the integration respect SharePoint permissions?

Yes. Quillio will only access documents the authenticated user can already see in SharePoint. Site-level and library-level permissions are respected.

Will it work with SharePoint Online only, or on-premises SharePoint as well?

The initial integration targets SharePoint Online (part of Microsoft 365). On-premises SharePoint support will depend on customer demand.

Where is matter data processed?

On Quillio's Australian-hosted infrastructure. Documents are processed in Australia regardless of where your Microsoft 365 tenant is hosted.

Will AI outputs keep the right matter metadata?

Yes. When saving AI outputs back to SharePoint, the integration will carry matter metadata (client, matter, practice area) so SharePoint search and governance continue to work.

Will it cost extra?

No. When it ships, the SharePoint integration will be included in standard Quillio per-user pricing.
