AI on your NetDocuments workspaces — direct integration coming soon.
NetDocuments is the document management system of choice for many mid-size and larger AU firms. A direct Quillio integration is on the roadmap; today Quillio works with NetDocuments via document upload.
Quillio is building a direct integration with NetDocuments — here is what it will do when available, and what you can do today. Status: coming soon. Today, firms using NetDocuments can download documents from a workspace, run Quillio for document review, research, drafting, or chronology building, and upload the AI output back to the NetDocuments workspace. When the direct integration ships, document access and write-back will be automatic from inside NetDocuments.
Quillio inside NetDocuments
When the direct NetDocuments integration goes live, Quillio will connect to a NetDocuments cabinet or workspace over an authenticated API connection. Lawyers will be able to select a document (or a set of documents) and trigger a Quillio review, chronology, or draft — with the AI output saved back to the workspace as a new version or document. Profile metadata, matter numbers, and cabinet structure will be respected.
What you can do
Document review on NetDocuments workspaces (planned)
Review documents from a NetDocuments workspace and save the output as a new document in the same workspace.
Chronology builder across the cabinet (planned)
Build a chronology from all the documents in a NetDocuments workspace, respecting profile metadata.
AU research with workspace context (planned)
Ask Quillio research questions with workspace and matter context pulled from NetDocuments profile fields.
Drafting with version history
Draft with Quillio and save back as a new NetDocuments version, preserving the document history trail.
Profile-aware metadata
Quillio will read NetDocuments profile metadata (client, matter, document type) to apply the right context automatically.

Data flow and security
Data flow
Today, you download documents from NetDocuments and upload them to Quillio manually. Quillio processes documents on Australian-hosted infrastructure. When the direct integration ships, documents will flow from NetDocuments to Quillio over an authenticated, encrypted connection, with AI outputs written back as new documents or versions — preserving NetDocuments profile metadata.
Security
NetDocuments Services Ltd operates with strong enterprise security including SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Quillio holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 on Australian-hosted infrastructure. The planned direct integration will use OAuth 2.0 and TLS for data in transit.
NetDocuments integration FAQs
Is the NetDocuments integration live today?
No — it is on the roadmap. Firms using NetDocuments can still get Quillio value today by uploading documents manually to a Quillio workspace.
Will the integration preserve NetDocuments profile metadata?
Yes. The direct integration is designed to read profile metadata (client, matter, document type) from NetDocuments and apply it as context inside Quillio — and to preserve metadata when writing AI outputs back as new documents or versions.
How do I use Quillio with NetDocuments today?
Download the documents you want Quillio to review from the NetDocuments workspace, upload them to Quillio, run your AI workflow, and save the output back to NetDocuments as a new document.
Where is matter data processed?
On Quillio's Australian-hosted infrastructure. The AI processing side has full AU data residency regardless of which NetDocuments region your firm is hosted in.
Will NetDocuments versioning be supported?
Yes. When the direct integration ships, Quillio outputs can be saved as new NetDocuments versions, preserving the document history.
Will the integration cost extra?
No. When it ships, it will be included in standard Quillio per-user pricing.
